It was a pleasure working with you on our “retirement home”. you clearly understood what we needed and delivered on time and on budget.

You were able to even fulfil every variation thrown at you for additional work. The tiling of the bathroom was a spectacular example. Well done.

In 2017 my wife and I employed JFS Contruction to undertake a 240 sq m NEW Build in the Ruapehu region and we absolutely made the right choice!!

Unlike other building contractor firms, we actually got the owner of the company, Kobus Senekal, building our architecturally designed home, something that is quite rare these days. This is something we believe, is certainly worth considering before contracting out your dream home to just “hammer hands” that get supervised by the qualified builder/business owner who occasionally turns up on site to do a check on workmanship and time management

Over the years, we have successfully been involved in 3 major house builds and are well aware of good building practices.
Contracting JFS Construction was without doubt the best decision we made, Kobus proving himself to be a very genuine, caring person who quietly and efficiently went about doing the very best for us.
He was extremely conscientious, hard working and consistently demonstrated excellent craftsmanship as well as having ALL the necessary equipment. He has just recently purchased scaffolding which is an absolute must for a builder to have these days in order to keep costs to a minimum.

His attention to detail made for an exceptionally easy build and minimal wastage, which is important if you are mindful of the environment and cost overruns.

The building site was always kept clean and tidy, with Health and Safety ever present on his mind!

If we chose to do it all over again, we wouldn’t hesitate to employ JFS Construction again!!!

We engaged JFS Construction to build an anchor section of the Knoll Ridge Chalet (KRC) renaissance project at Whakapapa Ski Area. JFS did an excellent job of providing quality craftmanship whilst remaining flexible to frequently changing requirements and working in one of the most difficult and challenging environments anywhere in NZ.

I would recommend the team at JFS Construction to anyone embarking on a commercial renovation. From our initial site visit, we felt confident that they understood our vision and did everything possible to ensure we delivered a quality product.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the results which JFS delivered on Phase One of the KRC Project we have already started to talk about Phase Two.
